D.A.V. Public School, Rampur Maniharan is established on 10th April 1995 as a primary school to provide quality education. It is started as a small trickle with about 96 students in a rented building near the market of Rampur Maniharan. Now the school has its own Building on Delhi- Saharanpur highway up to X affiliated with CBSE, New Delhi.
Though it’s a secondary school, still it has been the constant efforts of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi to provide all the basic facilities to the students in the remote town which are essential for the all round development of child. The integrated laboratory of science has all sorts of facilities to the students up to X class studying in this school.
The huge school library is well stocked with latest edition of books to cater the needs of students, Yoga, Kabbaddi, Bad-Minton, Kho-Kho, Vollyball, Chess and other major games are played in the school(Empowering DAVians Recognized by ministry youth Affairs and sports, Government of India). The State level & National Sports certificate of DAV sports will give same weight age in admissions everywhere as the Government Certificate.
